The following people recently were initiated into The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, the nation's oldest and most selective collegiate honor society for all academic disciplines.

More than 1,015 high school students from North Dakota and South Dakota kick-started their college career at Bismarck State College while still in high school through the BSC Fast Track program in Fall 2022. BSC Fast Track allows high school sophomores, juniors and seniors to take college courses as Dual Credit or Early Entry to meet their high school graduation requirements and receive college credit all at the same time.

A team of Bismarck State College (BSC) Cybersecurity students has placed 84th out of 3,658 teams at the National Cyber League, a virtual cyber competition, placing them in the top 2 percent in the nation.

Because of their exceptionally high scores on Microsoft Office Specialist exams, five Bismarck State College students have been named North Dakota Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) champions and selected to compete in the Microsoft Office Specialist U.S. National Championship in June 2022.

Two BSC students were named Phi Beta Lambda (PBL) national qualifiers after participating in the virtual Phi Beta Lambda State Leadership Conference on April 9 and 10, 2021.

Four Bismarck State College students are among the North Dakota community college students named to the 2021 All-North Dakota Academic Team, which recognizes the academic achievements of community college students.
