Bismarck State College is pleased to announce the following students who completed the coursework to graduate in Summer 2025.

More than 600 students graduated with degrees from Bismarck State College after completing the Spring 2025 semester. The graduates were recognized at the college's 85th commencement ceremony held on May 16, 2025, at the Bismarck Event Center.

Bismarck State College announces the President's Honor Roll for Summer 2025.

Seventy-one BSC Dual Credit/Early Entry students from six area high schools have been named to the BSC President's Honor Roll for the Spring 2025 semester. Students must maintain at least a 3.50 grade point average on a 4.00 scale while enrolled in at least 12 BSC semester credits to qualify for the President's Honor Roll. The BSC Dual Credit/Early Entry program allows high school sophomores, juniors and seniors to take college courses to meet their high school graduation requirements and receive college credit all at the same time. Students enrolled in 12 or more semester credits are considered full-time BSC students.

Bismarck State College students are among those named to the 2025 All-North Dakota Academic Team, which recognizes students' academic achievements, leadership and service at a North Dakota community college.

Four Bismarck State College students are among the North Dakota community college students named to the 2021 All-North Dakota Academic Team, which recognizes the academic achievements of community college students.

More than 1,500 high school students from North Dakota, South Dakota, Oklahoma and Washington have kick-started their college careers by enrolling in Dual Credit/Early Entry courses at Bismarck State College while still in high school. BSC Dual Credit and Early Entry allows high school sophomores, juniors and seniors to take college courses that meet their high school graduation requirements while receiving college credit at the same time.

BSC Fast Track allows high school sophomores, juniors and seniors to take college courses as Dual Credit or Early Entry to meet their high school graduation requirements and receive college credit all at the same time.

Two BSC students and graphic design apprentices are recognized for their creative contributions as members of the BSC Public Affairs team that brought home four gold and two silver Medallions from the 2024 National Council for Marketing & Public Relations (NCMPR) District 5 Medallion Awards.

Two Bismarck State College (BSC) competed at the Future Business Leaders of America, Inc.'s (FBLA) Collegiate National Leadership Conference (NLC), held June 24-27, 2024, in Orlando, Fla. The NLC provides education, competition, and networking opportunities centered on business for college students.

The College Media Association recently recognized two Bismarck State College students for their remarkable work. Kaia Lehman and Seth Iverson each received a Pinnacle College Media Award during the 2023 Associated Collegiate Press/College Media Association Fall National College Media Convention.

Bismarck State College student Fredric Odioinkhere (Plant City, Fla.) has been selected as a 2023 Coca-Cola Academic Team Bronze Scholar and awarded a $1,000 scholarship. Coca-Cola Academic Team Bronze Scholars are selected based on scores the student earned in the All-USA Academic Team competition, for which more than 2,400 applications were received this year. The Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation sponsors the Coca-Cola Academic Team program by recognizing 50 Gold, 50 Silver, and 50 Bronze Scholars nationally each year.

Bismarck State College student Anne Schauer (Carpio, N.D.) has been named a 2023 New Century Transfer Scholar and awarded a $2,250 scholarship. New Century Transfer Scholars are selected based on their academic accomplishments, leadership, activities, and how they extend their intellectual talents beyond the classroom. Over 2,400 students were nominated from more than 1,300 college campuses across the country. Only one New Century Transfer Scholar is selected from each state.

Six Bismarck State College students competed in business-related competitions during the 53rd Annual ND Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) Collegiate State Leadership Conference held March 26-27, 2023 in Mandan, N.D.

Two BSC students were named Phi Beta Lambda (PBL) national qualifiers after participating in the virtual Phi Beta Lambda State Leadership Conference on April 9 and 10, 2021.
